Clearing Energy
In our everyday hustle of 21st-century life, you can get stuck, really stuck. But the good news is there are tons of techniques to hit the reset button on our energy. When it comes to clearing out your accumulated gunk, the trick is finding what works best for you and your unique situation. Some of my faves are:
Grounding: It’s basically like plugging into the Earth’s good vibes. Not only does it kick out the negative energy, but it also brings a sense of calm and wellness. Plus, it’s like an instant makeover for your body, fighting inflammation and tweaking your whole vibe. Now, there are tons of ways to ground yourself. I’m talking about stuff like walking barefoot on the grass, chilling by a tree, munching on seasonal goodies, or even grabbing a grounding rock like red jasper. Check this out: Since the 1940s, we’ve been keeping our distance from the Earth, rocking plastic-soled shoes and spending a whopping 80% of our time indoors. It’s like we’ve been missing out on the Earth’s natural healing magic. Crazy, right?
Visualization: Guess what? You’ve got this incredible superpower called visualization. It’s like having your own mental movie studio where you can create all these positive scenes. The cool part? Your brain can’t tell the difference between what’s real and what’s just in your head So, why not take a moment to sprinkle some good vibes on those mental images? Our brains lean toward the negative stuff by default, but here’s the trick: you can totally flip the script. Spend a little time crafting the life you want in your mind, send some good energy to those mental pics, and watch the magic unfold. And hey, if you’re not into super detailed images, no worries. You can just focus on how you want to feel—the rest will fall into place.
Breathing Exercises: Take a moment and picture this: deep breaths as your secret weapon to chill out your body and mind, waving bye-bye to all that negative energy. Now, here’s the cool part—there are so many different ways to do it. You can try square breathing, where you inhale, hold, exhale, and chill for equal counts. Or how about some alternate nostril action? It’s like a brain energy boost. This one stimulates your vagus nerve and gives your nervous system a sweet, calming hug. Ever heard of Wim Hof? He swears by his own special breathing magic. The takeaway? Experiment with different techniques, find what feels best, and make deep breathing your go-to move. Essential Oils: You can think of essential oils as your secret weapon for kicking negativity to the curb. You can diffuse them, take a whiff, or even dab them on your body. Top picks for this energy-clearing mission? We’re talking lavender, tea tree, cilantro, vetiver, and eucalyptus – the dream team of essential oils. Sound Therapy: In sound therapy, various frequencies and types of sounds are used to promote relaxation, balance, and healing. Some popular sound therapy tools include singing bowls, gongs, Toning, and tuning forks. I encourage you to explore Solfeggio Frequencies. A super cool trait of humans is that we will entrain the most dominant frequency around us. Our body, mind, and spirit know the language of sound and respond immediately, entraining to that higher frequency. The negative cannot exist inside the positive—it naturally will create a new positive.
Crystals and Minerals: We share a similar crystalline molecular structure as crystals, and they hold a dominant frequency, which is why we are so naturally attracted to them. My top go-to’s for clearing energy are clear quartz, selenite, black tourmaline, smoky quartz, amethyst labradorite, and rose quartz. I could go on and on. Crystals and minerals are our best friends!
